Another fab read by Imogen Wells that leaves you hopelessly in love with her characters and wanting more more more!This time is the story of Mafia madman Aidan, hes alpha, hes in charge, he knows what he wants, and hes absolutely smitten with one beauty, Parker Bryant!Parker isnt your plain female lead, shes feisty, shes strong and she falls stupidly in love with Aidan without even realising it!Its not an easy journey for these guys with so much drama, twists and bumps that keep you hooked into their story from start to end!Look forward to reading more by Imogen over time.*Read as part of KU*
Aidan Kavanagh… 🔥🔥🔥 someone please throw a bucket of water over me!! God damn that man!!That man can kidnap me and tie me up and all sorts! I won’t complain… anyhow the book.Whiskey and Lace completely took me by surprise.Here we have Aidan. Second in charge of the Irish mafia. Arrogant, sexy, brutal, gorgeous, fierce and deadly but damn I can picture him that suit.Parker Bryant, his unexpected love interest. Mouthy, stubborn, beautiful and so right for Aidan in every way!Whiskey and Lace will suck you in from the very first page and you’ll be hard pressed to put it down. The plot is fantastic, the words are brilliant and the twists and turns will have you feeling like you’re on the waltzers!I’ll be honest Ms Wells is a new to me author but one that I’m going to keep coming back for more. The side characters are just as awesome and can’t wait for Star’s book.I’ve currently gone back to read the retribution series with Roxy and I can’t wait to see how they unfold.A definite 5 stars for me and if you don’t read this you’re seriously missing out.Don’t say I didn’t warn you!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

When Parker’s uncle goes missing. Every man and his dog are out looking for him. Even the infamous Aidan Kavanagh.Kavanagh is out looking for answers, but finds so much more when he meets Sassy bartender Parker Bryant…This story was full of danger, action, suspense, and twists I didn’t see coming. Thoroughly enjoyed it!I do recommend reading the Retribution Duet before this book for the best experience.
From reading the duet and having met Aidan, you knew that he wouldn’t fall for a weak meek female and had to have someone who would knock him down, then become someone who could walk by his side with blood dripping down her arm as well. They are the perfect balance, they do show their vulnerable side, able to comfort each other and give as good as each other in…and out of the bedroom…I really enjoyed how this story developed, it opened up and became something more than what you first expected. The story is fast paced, smoking hot and with some familiar faces coming back for an appearance this was the total package.There are some ties still to be tied up but, I feel that more is still to come and with Imogen writing you never know what or who is round the corner. Imogen has really come into her own with her writing, I love where this is going and I'm hungry for more!
